The GillHouse is all freshly renovated - honoring its historic roots and beautiful waterfront location with a clean, modern flair. We invite you to stop in to meet, tour the property, and talk about how we can work together to make your day unforgettable.
The GillHouse can host what you desire for a destination wedding, including:
- Main dining room (seats 75) with large windows and outside porch (25).
- Private dining room with seating up to 20 people, for more intimate events.
- Large reception room with fireplace and cozy seating to meet and greet.
- Warm inviting tavern to mingle, dine, or watch your favorite sports.
- Garden level patio with firepit, cocktail tables, and walkup service bar. (also a great area for the band and dance floor)
- Large event lawn with shade trees overlooking Harbor views.
- 11 renovated hotel rooms, various sizes with waterfront patios.
FACILITY FEE
We often anticipate closing down our restaurant and bar the day of a wedding (over 40 people) so we can have everything set up and specific to your event. This may include a fee between $1,000 - $4,000 based on season, actual date and specific timeframes. Receptions are typically booked to last 4-5 hour maximum.
MENU PACKAGES
We will collaborate on a menu to accommodate your tastes and budget. We offer sit down dinners or food stations for a more casual event. Everything will be served on fresh linens, china, silverware, and glassware - by friendly attentive servers.
Base Menu Packages Start at $59 pp, including 3 select appetizers, soup or salad, chicken, beef, or fish, with a pasta or starch, vegetable, plus rolls and butter, served buffet style. Sit Down – add $7 pp.
DRINK PACKAGES
We offer cash bar, hosted bar, or 2 drink packages for special events.
- Cash Bar – Happy Hour pricing to your guests.
- Host Bar – Happy Hour pricing on select items hosted.
- Standard Drink Package $28pp/3 hr. $36pp/4 hr. Draft Beer, house wines, well cocktails.
- Premium Drink Package $34pp/3 hr. $42pp/4 hr. Bottle and Draft Beer, house select wines, premium spirits and specialty drinks.
CHAMPAGNE TOAST
Korbel Champagne served in glass flutes $5 pp
CAKE CUTTING
We will cut and serve cake provided at no charge. We have an excellent local baker we can recommend, or we can also provide desert option starting at $6 pp.
PREFERRED LODGING
Plan early and reserve hotel rooms to make this an intimate event. Guests enjoy a free Continental Breakfast, private porches overlooking the water and our gracious hospitality. Bank of 5 (+) rooms/2 night minimum receive a 10% discount. Bank of 9 (+) rooms/2 night minimum – 20% discount.
REHEARSAL DINNER OR SEND OFF BRUNCH
We can arrange for any additional special events or food service upon request that are specific to your needs and expectations.
